Hello TwistyPuzzles,
I'm looking for a particular type of display case, it has two-parts that slide together to form a perfectly seamless cube.
A very long time ago, I found a "Photo Cube" in a garage sale. The two "C-shape" parts slide together and it is used to display six family pictures. Of course, I never used it for pictures; the dimensions are perfect for my Parker Brothers Soma Cube (this case is 3.25 inches per side, the "walls" are 0.125 inches, so the actual space inside is a 3-inch cube or 27 in³).
Some of you might know Allan Boardman, he creates tiny burrs that are no bigger than half an inch. As you can see
here and
here, he has the same kind of display case in various sizes. I tried contacting him to inquire about these cases, but it seems his old AOL email address is no longer valid.
I have found several places online that sells the "Photo Cube", but I would like to know if any of you have ever seen this product in smaller sizes. I think they would be perfect as display cases for some small puzzles.
Thanks,
Skarabajo.
Edited to fix nit-pick
