That thing just looks like a chunk of plastic with a single multi-colored sticker on each side

Sorry can't help you there.

Hmm. I don't have any information for you. But I do know that I had owned one (emphasis on the past tense there). It literally was a piece of plastic with inaccurate stickers. Since when do yellow/yellow edges exist .

Guys, let's not add noise to the forum. If you don't have anything to add you don't need to post to tell people about it.

JonnyWhoopes post is odd in that he does add information right after he claims to have none. So my comment doesn't really apply to him even if he thinks it does.

Dave :)

I have just bought this from a guy, who sells may different keychains from the early 80's.
(This was the only Rubik's)
So I'm pretty sure it is old stuff.
But I don't really know anything else about it.

I've been meaning to take all the stickers off my rubik's clock and replace them with an actual scramble.

I'm also thinking about making the screen have a backlight.

That looks just like some key chain cubes they sell over here in the US. You find them in these quarter gumball type machines where you put in quarter and get out a random prize. I have seen them in these machine since the late 80's. They do not turn. They are just a single cubie with a singe sticker on each side that makes it appear as a scrambled cube. I do not think that they are rubiks brand. Hope this helps some. And Mr. Litwin it does seem that the postwhoring is starting to get a little out control as of late.
