I just got my Orb in the post today. I'm waiting for a few more puzzles and getting some for Christmas. I will post pictures when I have all of them. Alex

I wish I was getting new puzzles for xmas, but the folks say they don't want to support my puzzle collection. They say it is starting to be like my beanie baby collection...back when I was 10! And besides, I use my puzzles everyday.
Long story short, anybody want to buy me my first gigaminx? Anyone? lol

Just got my Flowerminx in the mail. Turns OK, but it's a little squishy. I'm hoping it won't unscrew itself! I still wish the stickers had petal-shaped edges though.

I just got a Christmas present from me to me in the mail today. I got a Boxed Pyraminx, Rubik's Snake, and The missing link puzzle. I figured out the solution to the missing link puzzle in about 5 minutes, and within 5 solves, my PB was 1:37 . Can't wait for my Jing's Pyraminx, Holey megaminx and Pyraminx Crystal to arrive though -Mark-

My friend Thomas (simplexity4) made me a 4x4x4 Evil Twin and I absolutely love it. It is made from regular size Dian Sheng 3x3s. It is incredibly cool and a wonderful addition to my collection. =D

I know it's not a puzzle, but it's from shapeways, so I say it counts.

Apparently I've found out that my girlfriend's friend ordered me some things from mefferts. They haven't gotten to the house yet, though. My sister did pick me up a cheap whipit at a flea market, I think. I'll get pictures whenever my mefferts packages arrive. They ordered early december, so it seems like I'll be getting a late birthday present (mid january) instead.

Got a set of Fisher Cubes and a Qubami with 3x3x3 stickers! I'm still waiting for some puzzles that I've ordered from Meffert's and eBay. *I'm now facing a dilemma about what to do with my money - v cube collection (JFDude, you aren't last ), gigaminx, puzl competition standard megaminx, flowerminx? I still owe my parents £55 for puzzles that I've bought. * Merry Christmas! Alex

On Wednesday, I received a package from Mefferts containing a Flowerminx and a Jing's Pyraminx. I might see another package on Saturday for another puzzle, or more likely before the New Year rolls around.

I got two puzzles from the bug. She bought them with her own allowance that she saved up and picked them out for me way back in November! It doesn't get any better than this!

I got a flowerminx, Jing's Pyraminx, Black golden cube (w/Golden stickers!:D), Platypus, tetris cube, pyramorphinx, and a mastermorphinx, and there may still be a gigaminx and/or a 3x3x4 at my grandparents' house! And to think my parents made me cut 5 puzzles from my original list. edit: Is there an easy way to tighten a Jing's Pyraminx? It's very pop prone, and probably too loose.

I don't have pictures right now, but I got a Sphere XYZ, a Brainstring Advanced, and a spherical version of a megaminx with unstickered corners (I can't remember what it's called, but it's two shades of gray with circular "dot" stickers on the edges, and no stickers on the corners). Anyone know how to disassemble the Sphere XYZ? I'd like to try modding it, but I'm afraid to break it. Thanks

Sadly no photos, as they have arrived in Australia but I am in Singapore, (so I will have to wait until the 17th of January), but it seems my collection just got richer by: A Six Color Dino Cube (original). A Dino Star. A Rubik's Cheese. A Four Wing Roundy. Anyway... since I have no photos, I am posting a photo of a couple Mahjong Cubes! Attachment:

(the seller was a great guy with lots of traditional - but common - puzzles, as well as some new ones) Pantazis PS. Yes, some of the above were chased by me for some long time already! Now, there is only *one* puzzle that have eluded me. From all vintage puzzles, that might be the only one left which I really want, because of its different mechanism and mathematics. But I ain't telling anyone!

I got a Missing link puzzle from the 80's, a gigaminx from my grandparents, a new 3x3 for modding from my girlfriend, and a shiny 3x3 from the dollar store. The gigaminx is by far the coolest though. It's just menacing!

LOL, there's nothing wrong with Steppenwolf! I picked up a missing link a while back at a flea market. Took it home, > , took it apart, cleaned it, put it back together. It was nice! And that 3 handed chess set is AMAZING. I'm thinking about getting one now!

I unwrapped a C4U white Gigaminx yesterday, and I have to say, that besides the fact that it is freakishly tight and that I ALREADY broke a corner piece, it turns better than any unmodded C4U Gigaminx I've ever tried, without even being broken in.

Well, that's the plan. I'll probably start using the Pi mod, then do your mod, since your mods seem a little more time consuming.

Four posts about gigaminx modding. No pictures or descriptions of packages received. Guys: Read the topic and try to stay on it. The last four posts are a conversation between two people, which is what PMs are for. Dave

I got an edgeless pyraminx crystal and a logic star from PuzzleMaster, and a V-6 (almost a year after getting my V-7 ). I would post pictures but the computer is telling me that the file is invalid. Non-puzzle: I also got some topnosis tops from Color of Life (spin them on a piece of cardboard and if you gyrate that cardboard in a rhythmical fashion they will spin indefinitely)

I usually don't post much in the Puzzle Collecting forum, as I am more into the Puzzle Building side, but here's what I got from Kuhrik for my Non-denominational Winter Celebration. (In my case, it was Hanukkah. ) Once I solve the thing, I'll post a picture. Thanks, Kuhrik! -pi (Eitan)

It's still the holidays and this arrived this morning Pathetic £10 webcam and print screen button for the win! As you may be able to tell I'm trying out a corners-first method, then insert the edges using the Pyraminx method. The only problem I've encountered so far is final face corner OLL. I'm having to use the beginners method to orient the final corners. I have a couple of minor complaints about this puzzle though: 1-Sometimes when turning, one of the edges may get stuck in place and will pop once the layer is turned. 2-The edges seem to be very loose. They are incredibly squeeze-in-able. I'm sure once I've tightened the screws this may become less of an issue. We'll see.

One package finally came in today, but I only got one of the puzzles from it so far. Pictures later.

Late Christmas present arrived a few hours ago. Its a very fun and neat puzzle to play with. I very much like the stickers, even though i am a big fan of tiles. I haven't been able to solve it as of yet, i am having difficulty with the last "layer." I would definitely describe this puzzle, as Drew would say, "very squishy" sorry for the poor quality webcam pics.
