I recently recieved a puck from this auction. It got here last friday, and I picked it up on tuesday. It is a wonderful little puzzle! It turns very nicely, but is easy to solve. It looks very nice on the cube shelf! It came with a nice plastic case/ stand. Thanks Milan! Pictures

Finally got me a spindle. Took it apart, dusted, and lubed, and now it turns very smoothly.

Yesterday I recieved a vintage rubik's clock but didn't post here until I could solve it. I solved it today (without any help what so ever) and have a current record time of 1 min 48 sec. I am very proud of that.

Above is a Club Nintendo Tenbillion Star Barrel, a white Varikon Box 3x3x3 and a keychain 4-level Varikon Tower. I wasn't even aware until recently that there WAS a Varikon Tower keychain, but it looks like there's a keychain version of just about every puzzle out there. Next stop, keychain Skewb! Plus... Just got both of my Allspark cubes. Opened one to play with and kept one in the plastic for my collection. Really cool puzzles! The images are a tad challenging to match up, but they look very, very cool. =D

Wow, beautiful Greenhill cube! Did you get it from Anthony Greenhill himself, or is it second-hand? And how is the egg? do you find it 'eggy' enough? because is looked a little more stumped in the picture then the golden egg. Mine should arrive soon.

It is from Anthony, I was on a waiting list for several months (Hi Rox). It was worth the wait every minute. This is a fantastic puzzle. You are right with the 'stumpy' look of the MorphEgg. But I like it very much (much more in fact than the Skewb Egg - because it is a 3x3x3 and therefore easier to understand for me) When I showed it around this morning in the office, all said that the egg should be coloured and that Greenhill's Cube is by far the more beautiful puzzle of both.

Not all rare. Some are, most are duplicates so they will end up on ebay so I can get them out before my house turns into a construction zone.
I bought most of this lot for the columbus egg in the top picture, and the glen levit bottle. I've been after both of these for more years than I can count! Both are in very good condition.

I received my Yoshimoto cube yesterday. Very nice design, but I got bored after 10 minutes. I also bought a Rubik's Clock from Matchbox, and the seller had included a free necklace cube, which is as big as a normal 3x3x3 cubie.

I just got some uncommon puzzles from George Miller... - Vesa Timonen's Flat Tire (left) divides into four pieces in four simultaneous curved motions.
- Vesa Timonen's Tire (top) has four interlocked pieces which require some mental discipline to reassemble.
- Vesa Timonen's Fishhooks (bottom) slide together effortlessly if you can figure out how to do it. It took me about an hour to get it right.
- George Miller's Three Card Burr (right) uses three ordinary playing cards that require creativity--and foresight--to assemble.

Although it's the least twisty of the four puzzles, I think George Miller's Three Card Burr warrants a little extra explanation. The picture below shows the Three Card Burr before assembly (left) after assembly (right). Each card is very precisely cut so they can be assembled as shown, but the cuts are positioned so it takes planning and organization to move them into position. The cuts are too small to assemble the puzzle unless you devise exactly the right moves--it's only millimeters from being impossible! Once it's assembled it must stay assembled forever! Some of the movements aren't reversible (except by magic); there's just no physical way to undo it without tearing the cards. George Miller says "it is a one time puzzle." For me this novel limitation is part of the puzzle's endearing charm. Attachment:

That's actually a siamese, not a fused. Fused cubes share a 2x2x2 block.

Coming home late, and finding a puzzle in your post box is a great way to start the weekend. I just had an old mobile phone to make a picture, but I could not withstand and had to post it. Q

Matt523, what puzzle is that? I'm not sure what it is. It looks like a skewb ultimate but I know it's not.
