If you get an error page while posting a message with a URL in it (image, link), please e-mail me the details:
- the URL of the page you were on - the content you were trying to enter
As part of the negotiations to get the site back online, I agreed to remove my work-around for this "feature" / "error". So now I hope to send them a sizable pile of false positive examples that are being refused by the overzealous Apache security module. It will help them set it up properly, and get us on the right track sooner.

I like the new look but can't believe the timing. I am desperately trying to post details of a new puzzle but the preview doesn't work. -

Sorry, but this area of the site is not for public use.
If this error seems out of place, please take a moment to notify me using the form below and I will do my best to get the error repaired. "

Hi Tony,
First off, you can post URLs to stuff, just not links. Remove the http, colon and slashes from the front and it'll work.
Post here or e-mail me the URL of the page you were on (such as: twistypuzzles.com/forum/posting.php?mode=reply&f=12&t=13971), as well as the URL you were attempting to post. My host is unhappy with the fix I came up with this (it bypasses a security module that they would rather not bypass), so I have to pass your data on to them for them to fix it.

Just so you know, when I try to submit an error form I get another error form (how ironic!). I can obviously still email you, but I'm just letting you know.

Sorry for the double post, but I believe that this problem is over. For instance: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=13971

Off the topic of URL errors, but error related stuff. the forums seem to be way too narrow and long posts or large images are cut off halfway across the browser window.\
I assume this is already to be fixed but I thought I'd mention it.
new site looks FAB!

Yes, this appears to be fixed now. If you encounter a "Forbidden" or "403 Error" page while attempting to submit a form that includes a URL, let me know.
