I've got about 130 puzzle images to edit in a rather short period of time. The edited images will all be great additions to the puzzle database, but the "rush" is for their inclusion in another TwistyPuzzles.com feature (the exact nature of which I would prefer to keep secret for a few more days). If you've got some time to offer and know how to do this, send me an e-mail and we'll go from there. Sandy

Sandy Why is there a time limit? How fast does it have to be so the people know how fast to work? theVDude wrote: This is something I am good at, and quick with. Email sent! I hope your not to over whelmed.

I'd like to have this feature done and released by Wednesday evening. I've got plenty of final touches to the code and design work to complete before then (I may even do a little testing!) and I remain hopeful it can all come together at that point... a few days before I go away for the weekend. If it doesn't get online by Wednesday evening, I'll leave it until Sunday or Monday. So, it's a bit of a "rush", but not "end of the world urgent".

63 done, 70 left to go! Anyone else want to have a go?!
I've booked tomorrow off work, so I'll be sitting here at my computer most of the night tonight and most of the day tomorrow. The final push, I hope. Even if I get it done by tomorrow, I won't be releasing it until Sunday because I'm going away for the weekend. I want to watch things closely during the first few days to ensure there aren't any catastrophic bugs, and I can't do that from a tent!

Come on now guys. I send Sandy plenty of emails too, but there is no need to make a post when you do. He receives them. He gets back to promptly. If, for some reason, he doesn't: Give him a day (he is a busy guy). If after that you haven't heard anything and you are worried it got lost in his spam filter, send him a PM. If he doesn't receive your email and doesn't receive your PM, chances are he isn't going to see the post either. So let's keep it off of the forum. Please? Dave

I didn't say "email sent" as in "Hey Sandy, go check your email"... I really thought it was common practice to say "email sent" so that other see that there is indeed people helping instead of seeing Sandy all alone in this thread. But hey, all those "email sent" do look like "we are impatient Sandy, go check your email"... I see your point Dave Skarabajo.

Both are valid perspectives, of course. For the record, I did get the e-mails (and responded to them) long before I noticed the messages on the board. So if anyone is posting an "e-mail sent" message for that reason, there is no need. I'm mixed on the "post so people know Sandy's not alone" view. Maybe more people would volunteer if they thought I still didn't have any help! HA!
The truth is, I have received a great deal of help thus far. 90 images are completed, 43 are left, and 25 of those have already been sent to willing image editors. It's almost unbelievable to be sitting at the computer while sets of beautifully edited images show up to compliment the programming I'm doing. The support and gratitude I feel is immense. I feel that my efforts are being seen and appreciated. If all goes as planned, this update will dramatically improve my ability to devote more time to this site and its community, with results that we can all look forward to.
My most heart-felt thanks go to the following members who have helped with the image editing on this job:

Thanks again to the six members noted above. The site launch would probably still be a few weeks away if it wasn't for you guys. If you really like editing images (which you must, since you're so fast and awesome at it), get in touch with David Litwin, one of our museum moderators. There is a large pile of images to edit for the museum! Sandy
