I received the puzzle today and was surprised that it has stickers, I thought it would utillize
mefferts new plastic finish.

The e-mail that I received and the web site both indicated that the Cube came with "fluorescent labels" , so I was not surprised.

By the way, I can't say that I am surprised, the cube is already being auctioned at e-bay. If anyone is planning to bid for it, remember that Meffert sells it for $18.

So it has stickers instead of tiles, but how many colors are there? The original Tomy Megaminxes had 12 colors (1 for each face). When Mefferts started making them with stickers, they only had 6 colors (2 faces of each color). I think they are now back to 12 colors with their tiles today on the Megaminxes.

So once again, can anybody tell me if there are 6 or 12 colors on the new Ultimate Skewbs?

The Ultimate Skewbs come with 6 colors. My tiled Megaminx from Meffert has 12 colors.
