Hi everybody,

I was Christmas shopping last night, on Meffert & Rubik's site (shopping has never been so fun !!)
when I came upon this puzzle: It's called a Thomas Ball.

http://www.hessport.com/Rubik/cgi-local/shop_new.cgi/myhome=www.rubiks.com/page=thomasball.html

I have never seen it before, I not sure if it is that difficult, but seems like a twisty one,
so I bought one to play with and to add to my puzzle collection.

Thanks
Michael

Michael,

This is also sold in Japan. Brainy Toys, i.e. a toy company of Czech Republic, made this puzzle.
The logic of this puzzle is equivalent to Impossiball. They put tiles on a surface of a ball. They used very unique spacer.

You can get information on a website as follows.

http://www.thomasball.cz/En_index.htm

Thanks,
Masaki

Hi Masaki,

The day after my post, look what's on eBay:

Coincidence ?

I always thought it would be fun to know who's who on eBay.

I buy under the name: goingtwice-!!

Michael,

I too collect puzzles and do not sell them.

I guess "seg00" jump on the occasion, or it could also be a total coincidence...
