It is probably O.K., but you might want to consider getting it directly from the manufacturer. Here is the web page where it is sold for the same as the auction's starting bid price:

Meffert's also ships for free. It usually takes about 1 or 2 weeks to receive it. (...which means that you would have it in about the same timeframe since you don't have to wait for the end of the auction at Mefferts.)

Remember also that you will probably pay more on Ebay unless you are the only bidder. If you pay the Buy-it-now price, it will cost you $22 more than at Meffert's.

Ask anyone on the twisty site, Meffert's is an excellent, reliable source for this and other puzzles.

Sorry, I didn't mean to take business away from you. I'm sure there are many other people who will bid on your puzzle without first checking the Twisty site forum.

No big deal, honestly, those auctions are for the people who dont research what they are buying. I looked for a month to find places like meffert's, hendrik haak's shop, before i found this site. I didnt go onto ebay and shell out 50$ for one, i found mefferts, like most people here probably did.

There was a time when I was getting really depressed about the high prices on eBay. I was trying to replace an old Rubik's Revenge that exploded when my kids played with it. The prices were 'way more than I wanted to pay. Then I discovered Jaap's Puzzle Page, which led to Meffert's, the Virtual Puzzle Museum, and of course Twisty. It would be interesting to hear how other people came across Twisty and Meffert's.
