Shapeways just released green and yellow strong and flexible polished materials. They are the same as the other strong and flexible polished materials, only in different colors. This actually makes me wonder, what colors besides white and black are your favorites for custom-made or 3D-printed puzzles? Does anyone even have a special color body they like?

Some time ago, a member of this forum posted a photo of his blue shapeways puzzle with very nice stickers with holes in them, that looked awesome!

Here are some coloured bodies. As I am a collector and self-confessed slowcuber I am looking for alternative layouts.
Last year I bought a sticker cutter and so I am able to cut the stickers in clours of my own choice.
Shapeways Hot Pink is cool, if you like something aside the common paths.
I am always disappointed, that only few designers are offering alternative colours.
They are cutting their own business. Black and white are common but also quite boring.
That's why I bought some colours and try it on my own now.

I like the yellow heritombo cube (3x3 helicopter?). I myself personally like warmer colors like red and yellow.

I think Frank is right, just because black and white are the most common, there should be no reason to stop people from getting which ever colour they want! And for that reason, I've made my only shapeways puzzle available in all colours, and I will do the same for all future puzzles! Why limit your product range, bad business choices

That's it.. I am making something as an intweenie, hopefully it will work, and I might just make it red or blue based hehe.

They look great Frank!

I think now Shapeways only offers the colors on polished WSF. Shapeways has minimum part size limits for polishing and many twisty puzzles have parts too small. This alone is probably the primary source of a lack of color options.

Well, they usually loose some polished parts anyway, colored or not :(
