I have stumbled upon a very cool secret with the 3x3x5 and the trio cube.
If you have the 3x3x5 you also have the L cube, and with the trio cube you also have the T cube. Calvin made it so that each of the cubies can be broken up into 2 or 3 separate parts and put back together. The only problem with this is the sticker arrangement. The closest possible arrangement to the traditional sticker scheme is that 2 opposite colors will get switched somewhere on the cube. It is actually pretty fun to take the cube apart and reform it. Another thing to note is that there are 4 possible combinations for the inner corner piece and 3 for the edge.

This is no secret :) The best way to do it is to get a cross cueb and an icube - that way you can make every one for the series, with the correct colour scheme. :D
