Yet another thread of this type by me...

What would a rhombic triacontahedron shapemod of a Radio Chop (deepcut icosahedron) look like?

I used code originally posted by Stefan (Stef-n).

I think I like it more than eithe the icosahedron or dodecahedron version. Anyong got the icosadodecahedron version on hand?

While we're at it, we might as well add the other common geometries too.

I love how the cubic version has skewb cuts that actually function like skewb cuts!

Make a cubic shape mod PLEASE!
The 'unbandaged skewb' will be amazing!

EDIT: could you render the radio chop such that one of the cut lines slices across the cube like 2x2x2 cuts?

The 8 corners of a cube perfectly correspond to 8 corners of a dodecahedron. This is why the Skewb Ultimate is such a natural puzzle and why you can reduce a Chopasaurus to a Skewb.

Not easily with the existing code.

This is the shape I was looking for:

That would just be the dodecahedral version with all the corners truncated. Wouldn't add anything...

That's a good point. I should have looked more closely before I asked.

Can this program do compounds? Compound of 5 cubes might look good.

I need to put a lot more work into the code to get it updated to the latest stuff Stefan programmed and then I can work on adding features after that. It's not going to happen anytime soon. Until then you could always use POV-Ray yourself :D .
