I made a game on youtube.
It starts off fairly simply and gets very difficult very quickly.
That is, of course, if you don't cheat by pressing the pause button.
There are 5 levels. I can only solve the first 2. (I could cheat and check my notes I guess)
I don't think this has been done before on youtube, at least I hope not.
It works best on a non-mobile device at HD. But it's still doable on a mobile device.

Enjoy :)

PS. I've very quickly had people posting comments on the 1st level like "I got it". Like I said, the 1st level is easy. The rest...not so much.

Haha. Great fun.
I use 3-5 moves when teaching my daughters intuitive F2L
(Yeah. that's the crazy kinda Dad I am  )

Could you extend it so that a whole solution to the cube could be done?
White cross in 4 moves...
Couple of basic white corners first, then a couple of corner edges together.
Then simple orientation cases etc.
Always developing the solve which is self satisfying, so your brain picks up the idea of how simple each bit is, and demistifies the cube solving experience.

p.s. What's a Mobius Slip? :P

I'll admit I'm not really following how a whole solve could be done?

Ah. That's a 20 minute prog rock epic by Sound of Contact... :)

Thanks Jack (and oxymoronicuber). I think many people on this forum would have not much trouble doing 2 turns up to 4 or 5. But I reckon 6 will cause headaches for some.

I should also say that I've deliberately only used 3 faces, so as to keep it somewhat achievable for the general public. But I'm already thinking about a 6-8 turns version where any faces are used...

Actually I'm quite intrigued as to how the better solvers here figure out this sort of thing. Here's a 6-move scramble involving any combination of the 6 faces. I'm happy to know the solution but if you do post, please explain how you worked it out. I would have no idea... :?

I just woke up, saw that in my sub box, and got through it on my first try! The last one I think was a bit of luck, but it was cool to see that I could see that far ahead into a scramble. Like someone in the comments said, I'd love to see you do this with other cubes like 4x4 or even 2x2. Yeah I can get maybe a couple of move for the 6 but couldn't figure it out in a minute :? P.S. You should do more of your videos in that voice
