Sorry if this has been covered many times already, but what is a good source for coloured PVC (possibly adhesive-backed) for making stickers? I can't remember seeing the material in sheet form in the last 25 years!

A fellow puzzle maker gave me a tip. It turns out that sign-makers use tons of adhesive sheet vinyl. I called a local sign maker, and he invited me to come look at his selection. He was fascinated with the concept of modifying Rubik's cubes, and he loaded me up with a huge selection of colors for a very reasonable price. He threw in some samples, so I'm all set for the forseeable future. If you are going to produce a lot of puzzles of the same design, you can get a sign maker to precision-cut the stickers for you. It is pretty common for these guys to have vinyl cutters that interface to their PCs.
