Hi,
With my work on the museum here on twistypuzzles I have come to a point were I need help on the details. In this case: 2x2x3 The earliest known trace here on the forum dates back to 2003. Back in those days it was already mentioned on Katzuhiko Okamotos (no longer available) website.
Does anybody know who and/or when this puzzle was made for the first time? Mechanisms don't matter. The old-fashioned "built up from a bandaged 4x4x4"-method is valid like all other mechanisms.

Thank you for the hints. Lately I found that the 2x2x3 was mentioned (with image!) on Okamoto's site back in 2001.
