My friend, who is teaching maths at Leicester University surprised me today, by saying they are organizing Rubik's cube day in November in Leicester.
There will be speed-cubing competition and he invited me to make a stall, showing some of my Rubik's cube collection.
He also said they are trying to invite a few famous people there.
Though email address for David Singmaster did not work for him.
If anyone knows how to contact David Singmaster to invite him for that day, can you please PM me his details?
My friend also asked if I know of anyone else, connected to Rubik's cubes they can invite?

Will this meeting be purely concerned with Rubik's 3x3x3 cubes, or will it be about twisty puzzles in general?

So far they are organising a pure speed-solving event for 3x3x3.
He only invited me as he saw my cube collection and asked me to do a stall.
I am trying to contact their organisers to see what is planned as I have no details whatsoever.

As far as I know the competition is the UK Open 2012, and will contain most of the events. I am certainly hoping to go to this, it would be cool to meet you there Vadim.

Hi Vadim,have you tried the people who run Village Games in Camden for David Singmasters contact details.As for The U.K Open is it going ahead this year? If so where as I wouldn't mind going.
