Do you have any funny cubing stories. Please add them.

My story:
I was racing a kid at school. We both ended in a tie. There were about five people watching. They all said it was tie.

Solving my 8x8 for everyone.
I get to PLL. The girl sitting next to me screams, "HOLY $#!@, HE DID IT!"
It scares me, and I drop the cube, and have an enormous pop.

When I was solving another time, I got to PLL (h perm) and girl said "He did it." I start to do the algorithm and she's like "What are you doing? You are messing it up" :lol:

At DCD 2009 I had a slight stomach upset. Late in the day Erno Rubik came over to look at my puzzles and have a one to one chat. The whole time I was thinking God, I am dying for a ****.

Recently I was trying to solve a Rubik's Tower, 2x2x4.
A girl passing by remarked : hey that is very strange!
I asked : what is strange?
She said : how did you turn that cube to make it longer? :lol:

I don't think having a beer would help your upset stomach :lol:

I was solving a puzzle, don't remeber which, and was doing an algorithm for like 10 minutes but it was not working. Then I realized it wasn't the right one. :roll:

Back in fourth or fifth grade during recess, I presented my sloppy extended 2x2x4 to some people who knew me for bringing cubes out. One tried turning an extended layer and broke a piece off.

Also, one day in middle school during lunch, a kid wouldn't give me back my 4x4 when we were about to leave. I was keeping my casted helicopter cube on my lap from everyone so nobody would break it (why did I bring that to school again?). When I reached to grab my 4x4, the helicopter cube crashed to the floor and a corner snapped off. Then, if the situation wasn't bad enough, the kid who previously had my 4x4 picked up the helicopter and the corner with the nub snapped off and kept trying to shove the corner back into place, all the while keeping the cube away from my (now frantic) reach.
