Where are the College cubes coming from that are showing up on eBay? Is there a distributor for them? I have search the Internet for any reference but can't find any for sale (well except eBay).

I found a few pictures on a few sites, but they weren't for sale.

Exmaple:

I'm the guy selling these, and I'll never tell where I got them. Okay twist my arm....

They are not new Customized Cubes via Rubik.com, but I'm sure we will see those coming out soon (from what their site says, the official Rubik's logo on White sticker MUST be on every customized cube they make - booooooo)

Actually they were created for an Alumni association about 15 months ago, and order that Mike Green (Puzzletts) fulfilled. He had them made over seas somewhere and then sold the batch to the Alumni Association. He, however, was permitted to keep (buy cheaply) a small quantity of each of the college cubes. This was a one time order and no more are planned to be made. Now there must be a few of these floating around being distributed solely by the Alumni association, but not sold in general stores.

Mike sold a subset of his batch to me last year which I sold on eBay, and 2 weeks ago I bought the remainder of his quantity (perhaps 20 cubes) and I am selling them now on eBay. So when these are gone, the only way to get one will be to find the Alumni association (whoever they are) and try to get one.
