I visited a few of my favourite webcomics this morning, and noticed that Dilbert, Garfield, SMBC, ASP and User Friendly were all showing ads by Speedcubing.com. I guess these sites all use Google to place their ads, and they are being targeted at me because of my visits to TP, hknowstore, mf8 etc. Clever, but still a bit freaky

I know a lot of people don't like how google knows everything. On the other hand, I'd much rather have a relevant ad than getting paid $500 to be a mystery shopper or punching the monkey to win a free Xbox.

That's why I block tracking cookies (and ads in general too).
