The Meffert's website shows the Gear Cube Extreme/Ultimate in various states of stickering.

1) With only basic centre, corner and outer edge stickers that don't extend into the gear teeth.

2) Fisher style stickers without inner edges stickered.

3) Fisher style stickers with inner edges stickered.

Is there a specific way to order in various styles, or do Mefferts only ship it one way and then it must be modified by hand?

I got mine from Calvin at HKNowstore
As far as I can tell with mine the cube arrives as a Gear Cube extreme in your pattern 1 - basic stickers and the tiny parts not stickered.

They send with it a set of stickers - these stickers are Fisher style and also have the pieces to make it into a gear cube ultimate i.e. have the tiny inner pieces stickered. It took me absolutely ages to sticker it but it looks great and is one hell of a challenge.
