3x3 Types?

Here's what I know:
Type A- Gouija (Alpha)
Type C- Witeden
Type D- YJ
Type F- Sheng En

Other than that, I am clueless. What about brands like Dayan, V-Cube, QJ, LanLan, Diansheng, etc. Do they have letters? And if they don't, should they?

Personally, I like not having to remember my Dayan's by a letter. I think it breaks down cubes better, but I would remember a witeden 3x3 over a type-c.

I guess Tybe B is a Type-F predecessor and Type E is Diansheng
