Prefeably something that I can get at a Lowe's. Monkeydude1313 said to get jig-a-loo, but I dont think that lowes carries that. It said though that I can get it at an ACE hardware store. So, is jig a loo the best?

I've found that both Jig-a-loo and CRC Heavy Duty Silicone can damage the plastic. CRC will discolor the surface (signs of damage) and Jig-a-loo doesn't really dry well and remain sticky (therefore not a great lube) and can melt some plastics (there have been some horror stories posted before).
I use Cyclo Heavy Duty Silicone which I've found at some auto parts stores. I've never seen it do any of the damage that I've seen the above two do and it tends to dry well not leaving any sticky or oily residue.
I'm also not a fan of the wet oil based lubes that some people like (and comes in some puzzles from China or HK). I don't like having to wash my hands after playing with a puzzle and sometimes these oils will soak into the stickers.

This may be of interest to German members only: I have found Teslanol silicone spray best. I have bought it in 400ml cans at Ebay at a reasonable price. It seems to be available on German Ebay only. I couldn't find it on ebay.com It works on ABS plastic and on Shapeways WSF / BSF equally well.

The best kind would probably be Lubix, but if your looking for something cheap and that you can get at a hardware store, go with CRC, I 've had it and used it on all my puzzles, it's very cheap and I still have alot left.
