I personally don't like the cubic 3x3x5 so I'll be ordering 2 3x3x4s, one to make into a lazyman's 3x3x5 and one to keep as a 3x3x4.

But how are you going to do that? Using both 3x3x4's?

You cut down the pieces that cover the hidden layer on the 3x3x4, and then replace pieces in the hidden layer with pieces from a regular cube

Yes, I purchased the 3x3x5 from C4U and got it yesterday. It is stickered and very nicely done.

I haven't played too much with it yet but it turns very well (I got hooked trying to solve the Crazy II 4x4x4 which I ordered at the same time).

Cheers,
Jorge

Since I just finished building a cuboid 3x3x5 (my first mod since 2001-ish), I'm highly confident that a mass-produced, correctly proportioned 3x3x5 will hit the market within a week. :)

Naaah... one week is too fast. Give it ten days.

I think it is. I'll leave it stay because Joshua's post does add something. A tiny bit, but something.
We often get frustrated because we want to see a new puzzle massproduced immediately. This doesn't often happen as lots of problems occur during the prototyping/designing/manufacturing process. I have been saying this time and again, and Joshua's bump further proves this.

In the mean time, lets stay away from long bumps in future. Others will be deleted.

LOL! Apart from the tiny addition, it did make me laugh (for many reasons).
Now... any other predictions?

Silly Gus.

Admins are red. Moderators are green. Admin edits are often in dark red.

And mind your [removed] language.

Dave ;)

Ah, you presume TOS. Sandy and sausage were The Original Series, I'm a Next Generation Admin.

...and with that I'll say that we should warp back to the original topic.

Engage!
