Less than a year ago I was able to solve the cube in roughly 30 seconds. I knew all the Friedrich algorithms. Today, I have forgotten most of them and can barely solve the cube. It was hardbreaking trying to solve the cube this morning and not remembering a single algorithm. I had to solve it almost intuitively, which sucks .

I don't even want to touch my Pyraminx, Megaminx, Crystal, Square 1, etc for fear that I won't be able to solve them.

for someone who 8 months ago made atleast one thread a week about the pyraminx crystal, its amazing that you don't touch it anymore.

I agree with TheCube, you had all this complaining about how your puzzles werent hard enough for you and now you cant solve the cube?

I did that 6 months ago after a 1 year spell of focusing only on sports and school, and I'm faster then ever

I didn't think it was possible, I thought learning to solve a Rubik's Cube was like learning to ride a bike. Well, guess not. Try to learn it again, if you did it once then obviously you can do it again.

Edit: at least now you can say "I figured out the cube all on my own".

It's my guess that you'll probably be able to quickly go down in your times (if that's what you want to do...) once you sort of refresh yourself. You already were able to get down to 30 seconds, which takes a fair amount of hard work, so with a bit of review, I'm sure it'll come flooding back.

I can't remember anti-corner sunes, and the other two. It does happen after not solving for a while. It's like forgetting old telephone numbers.
