That's correct. Meffert's is now selling a White Pyraminx Crystal. Am I going to buy it? No. Would I have bought it if it had been available when I bought my Black Pyraminx Crystal? Yes.

Cube4you pulled a similar stunt with the White 4 Layer Square 1. I believe something similar happened with the black V-Cube 5.

We already knew hes selling white ones. Do you ever stop complaining? First you complain that they aren't out yet, then when they finally come out you have to complain even more that they have white ones.

First off Rubo you are such a little complainer.
You complain so much, you should seriously reconsider everything you post.
Did you ever think that Mefferts did make the pyraminx crystal, a puzzle that was only available to a select few, avaiable to nearly everyone. And now he thinks "hey maybe some people will want a white one also" I'm pretty sure not many puzzles have been mass produced in multiple colors, in their first go-thru. I think that Mefferts, V-cubes, and cube4you, should not sell to you because of how dumb you are.

I dont look at this as a trick to try to sell more, as a collector I would have bought both anyway, but you have to understand the concept of selling...
Ofc they dont put both up on the site right away, I am thankful for the puzzles that Mefferts have given me and due to the fact that mefferts.com are still running
and offers puzzles to newcomers that didnt live in the 70-80's, and there is a fact that they dont make much money
of the puzzles they work hours to try to mass produce and sell at a low price, there is always a question about "is it worth it?" "will the puzzle market buy this if we put it into production again?" , instead of complaining you should be grateful, a super puzzle have been made and now you should support mefferts and the team instead of being angry...

I have always found white puzzles to be more attractive. I'm not sure why. Perhpas because black ones are so much more common?

Never had trouble with Meffert before though, always been very impressed, received puzzles in UK 5 days after ordering.

can't wait to buy a white pyraminx crystal, it took me a while to finally solve the thing. i also think white megaminx puzzles would be great, and i can't agree more that we should be grateful to meffert's for producing these awesome puzzles... i've bought 3 or 4 puzzles from them that had tiles that kept falling off and needed to be reglued, but considering the amount of puzzles i've bought from them at a great price which have been tremendously enjoyable i can forgive them for the few puzzles that weren't made perfectly and still feel that this company is great and want to support them and try to make sure they stay in business. look at it this way, the pyraminx crystal was formerly only available as the Aleh's Brillic which sold for well over $1000 on ebay if i remember correctly. if you value the puzzles like most of the collectors here do there is no question that you are getting a bargain from meffert's.

What games are you speaking of? It's called "making derivative products available." Uwe's running a business; just because some people desire one color of puzzle doesn't mean he has to cater to that minority (or majority). You should be happy that he even decided to make a white version - nobody else is making these, remember that.

Smashy, you have to remember that Rubo is a moron (I am sorry, but that is the truth in this tread), he is talking about the game that the manufactures play with us customers to make more money. He first wrote something like this before he edited "I wont be a sucker" or something. Anyway due to all the respect I had for Rubo, I lost that respect when I saw this tread. I think he should be more careful when he posts things like this, many dont care but I really do care.

And for the record: Mefferts know that tiles and stuff can fall off their puzzles, cuz there is a law against how much glue to put on a "toy" (puzzle) and they have to keep inside those lines. I have talked to mefferts about this and they are 100% aware of the issue but cant do anything about it. So just glue on yourself:)

I've had some tiles fall off, and then I lost one. I emailed Meffert's and they are sending one out to me. Because I didn't understand what they were trying to tell me about the glue they are also sending me a bit of glue to fix the cube. You couldn't ask for better customer service than that!

I'm just angry I didn't get in on a white one. I put my name in, but who knows how many they'll have available when they do.

Meffert can do whatever he wants regarding brillic colors. If tomorrow he decides to make a red one and I like it more than the black one, to buy it or not, is only my problem. The same for the white one, if even Aleh is not angry about that, all 'if I had known' arguments are not Mefferts problem

He's got the white ones up for sale again. I wonder if he would be interested in making white megaminx's. I'm sure there would be just as equal, if not more of a demand.

I just ordered one and asked the question about the possibility of seeing a white megaminx. I've asked before and never got a response.
