Post subject: Utility to solve a puzzle
PostPosted: Wed Apr 04, 2001 7:08 pm
Hi there!

What I am looking for has not to do with cubes but with another from of puzzles.

There is one kind where squares are arranged in side by side in a rectangle i.e. 4x6.

But one square is left free so that you can move the parts in order to rebuild the original picture.

If you know the original picture and where there parts should be moved to it should be possible to give the shortest way to solve it by a computer programme. Does anyone know such an utility.

If you do so, please let me know!
Thanks a lot!
