I've read the previous thread on delivery experience with china post. I'm thinking of making a rather large order but haven't used them before. I'd be using DHL or EMS. Can anyone confirm whether or not I should expect issues with losing multi-hundreds of dollars through them? If it was only $20, I'd risk it. It's not that I don't trust them, I just don't "know" them like some other stores.

I have never heard of any trust issues with them, I've seen many people talking about getting puzzles from them, I have never heard of anyone not receiving what they order.

The only problems I have heard or read about were the shipping times you already mentioned.

There are three shipping methods offered by China Post.

1) Shipping by Air - 10 to 20 days
2) Shipping by SAL - 20 to 60 days
3) Shipping by Surface - 30 to 90 days

Recently, I shipped 8 parcels by air to US, Canada, and Europe, with the fastest arrives in 9 days, and the slowest arrives in 19 days.

I always ship my parcels registered, as it only cost an extra CNY8 ($1.3).

I have talked to staffs in post office, and they strongly recommended not to choose shipping by surface, though shipping by this method is extremely cheap, but it may take 3 months or even longer for parcels to arrive.

Therefore, if the seller offers shipping by registered airmail, I think it's quite reliable, otherwise you should really think about it.

Thankyou. This is good advice. As I said, I'll definitely be choosing the more reliable registered options. I just wanted to know that as a store, you do actually get what you order.

I agree.

I got some 3/4 orders by them in the past, no issues except delivery time (and not always).

Man alive. I only read the fine print now. Minimum order 5 on practically everything? Seriously???  I don't want 5 of everything. I want one.

Yeah, I was going to buy from them because I trust them a lot, but the minimum 5 per order caught me out. Weird. Just went to HKNowStore for the order.

Well I'm wondering if it's some kind of glitch. I don't remember seeing it yesterday, and it's on absolutely everything in their stock, including $200+ petaminxes. I wonder if anyone knows what's going on. :?

I have ordered from them 4 times and I got all my orders. The only thing is if you use their promo code for discount with cheapest shipping, it took 8 weeks for it to arrive to the US.

I think the minimum 5 thing is just a typo. Once you change the number next to "add to cart" from 5 to 1, the number automatically changes from 5 to 4 once you refresh the page. They probably just mixed up maximum with minimum.

No, it's not a typo:

Yeah there's definitely something weird going on. I created an account and ordered 1 wormhole. I then tried to click "Go to checkout" but it kept returning me to my shopping cart page because I'd only ordered 1, not 5. Has anyone else experienced this or have people just ordered normal amounts up until now?

I've ordered lots of puzzles from them. With the exception of 1 scratched sticker on one puzzle, everything came just fine to my NYC address. YMMV to Australia. I get a double confirm when I order from them though. At first I thought I would get two orders, two bills, but I didn't. Would order again from them.

Well perhaps Mr Champion could jump onboard and let us all know why he's suddenly made everything into a min order of 5. I'm pretty disappointed as I was all geared up to be handing him my money.

Wow, I've been shopping with Champion's for quite some time and consider them reliable, but this change to their ordering requirements is strange. I can see a minimum dollar value, but 5 of the same doesn't make sense. They have always been responsive when I emailed a question, so I will check it out and email if the website is still showing minimum quantities.

Well thanks for trying that out, I'm not smart enough to have thought of that. I like how you asked about the min order and got the web address in return.

Anyway, I've gone ahead and placed an order there so I've got my fingers crossed and I hope it arrives. I should probably reply to my own original post in a week or two.

They are spammers though. Decided to make a comment on my blog how it is so perfect for cubers, and check out our store! With link and all.

The entry they picked is about me showing the enclosure I built for my cats.

Sorry but they will not get anything from me, behavior like that is on my not-tolerated list.

And another one. This time they did pick a puzzle post (not hard, my most recent ones almost all are). Compliments, awesome. LINK.

Right. *turns word verification on*

So far so good. I used dhl and it's taken only 2 days to get from their store to Melbourne. That's pretty amazing. Should be here soon. The only issue left is whether they packed the right puzzles. Here's hoping!
