Hi I just bought both stickerless dayan zhanchi and a dayan 2x2x2. I am now tying to figure out what type of lube would work best for these puzzles. Please reply on what you believe would work the best for them.

Most of the Hungarians use my lube:
Spray: http://speedcubing.hu/webshop/index.php ... cts_id=255
Oil: http://speedcubing.hu/webshop/index.php ... cts_id=366
It works immediately, and last for long time.
Ps.: Outside Europe, the air mail does not work for the spray (because of the Propane-Butane)

I use Traxxas diff oil because it is much cheaper than specialty cube lube. Depending on the type of puzzle and whether you are lubing the core, internal or external pieces, I use either 10K, 30K or 50K types. You can buy this stuff as a package of the three types here.

For dayan puzzles traxxas in combination with maru lube.

I put 50k in the core, 10k on the pieces and work it in. Then add a drop of maru on the pieces and the cube will fly :)

Vcubes need only maru. It hates any other kind of lube (at least my 4x4 does).
