I lurk here often but don't post much, but now I have a problem!

I got a [Removed, KO] 6x6 after hearing good things about it, mainly the fact that it didn't click or misalign.

But yeah, mine misaligns all the time and I have no idea how to fix it.

I even tried disassembling it and reassembling (FFFUUUUUUU!!! rage!)

and yeah, it still does it.

I had that a few days back. It's due to the stationary piece on one of the axis pieces being orientated incorrectly, meaning that the puzzle is trying to align the middle layer to both sides. You can use a screwdriver and shunt the incorrectly orientated circle round to the correct way.

Have you considered that you might have it assembled incorrectly? I am not sure what the mechanism is but on some of these puzzles the orientation of the center pieces as they are screwed on the core can be important.

I guess I could've assembled it incorrectly, but it did this before I disassembled it too.

and for like 10 mins after it was reassembled, it worked perfectly, and then.. this.

I'll try to find which peice is doing it. Do I have to disassemble the top layer to do that screwdriver thing?

I am sure V-Cubes will say it is sweet justice. I don't own this puzzle but I am pretty sure Luke is correct though, one or more of the centres has been put in wrong.

Lol yeah you are probably right about V-cubes saying that!

This one doesn't click... but misaligns! lol what an upgrade..

If you look at the 27 second mark there is no misalignment at all, it could be there is excess plastic on a piece or pieces that are causing it to catch. Best thing to do with any of the cubes they produce is cut off all the excess with a blade or sand them down. Hope this helps.

hm I don't recall seeing any excess plastic while assembling it but yeah, i should probably not call it misaligning since I guess it's not the core doing this but the "center caps" under the cubies.
