A skewb was coloured as though it was a HMP. The inventor decided to use three-sided shapes that would work on a real tetrahedron. The Trinity knot, Triskelion, and Valknut are from real human mythology (Celtic, Greek, Norse) and the Tri-Force is from a fictional mythology (Legend of Zelda).
Ceithir is gaelic and means four.
