A Cross Cube (2x2x2) in the shape of a truncated triakis tetrahedron.
This puzzle is a Junior Cross Cubes (or Lolo's Octahedron) transformed into the shape of truncated triakis tetrahedron, a catalan solid. It is made by gluing FDM printed extension parts onto a mass produced 35 mm 2x2x2. Its shape is slightly different if compared with the canonical 6-truncated triakis tetrahedron, hence the 2x2x2 cuts could go through vertices of the polyhedron.
The inventor got the idea of this puzzle when he was designing the Jade Z (see the separate entry). The two puzzles have same appearance (except body colour) but turn differently.
Edge length (hexagonal faces): 24 mm
Weight: 120 grams
