The exposed 2x2x2 is designed just the same as any normal 2x2x2 but the internal edges are exposed and stickered to provide an extra layer of solving. One corner is bandaged to its adjacent edges and centers so some turns affect the inner layer and some don't. The bandaing pattern is identical to the Fused 3x3x3.
