A tetrahedral version of the Time Machine. Every face has circles with nine segments.
This puzzle was inspired by the orignal Time Machine from 2009, see the separate entry. In this new puzzle a tip turning tetrahedron was enhanced with circles on all four sides that can be turned independently. Each circle has nine segments.
The only way to implement a tetrahedral Time Machine was use hyperbolic cuts, the same method as for a Kilominx. This presents a new engineering challenge: how to stop the segments falling mid-turn. The inventor needed to add a hidden mechanism. In total there are 42 hidden pieces. Also a clicking mechanism and inside-out core were used.
