A Skewb Rhombic Dodecahedron combined with a Moving Hole puzzle.
The inner mechanism of this puzzle is a Skewb Rhombic Dodecahedron. The inventor combined it with an extra mini sliding gap puzzle on each face as in the Twist & Slide.
The faces outside of the tiles are actually curved as opposed to flat. The inventor did this in order to cut down on the size of the overall puzzle. The shape was bounded by cones pointing at each 4-way corner while the tiles themselves are actually flat.
The inventor tried to generalize the sliding gap on each face puzzle, and ended up determining that if one takes a deep cut puzzle and puts a face tangent at each intersection of a 4-fold cut, that should work.
It was printed through i.Materialize. The stickers were cut on a Silhouette Cameo 3.
Diameter (inner): 72 mm
Weight: 100 grams
