This is a shape variant of the raptor cube (see the separate museum entry) which is itself a shape variant of the Rex Cube.
The puzzle's shape is made from joining three capsule shapes, each aligned perpendicular to each other.
The name comes from the resemblance of the object to an atom's nucleus, and the cuts also kind of resembling the orbit of electrons/protons/neutrons in an atom.
