A jumbling only puzzle based on the triakis octahedron.

Collider Octahedron is another in the series of "Collider" puzzles by the same inventor. Like the other puzzles in the series, this one uses contour cuts to minimize the number of pieces in this 24 axes puzzle. The internal geometry is the face turning triaks octahedron, which creates three axes per face, or two per edge. It is a jumbling only puzzle that also features overhang bandaging. It is very similar to the Collider Cube in terms of piece counts, except that it has the additional face center pieces that first appeared on the Collider Tetrahedron, and like that puzzle, the axles are not visible so you don't necessarily know which face needs to be which colour.
Edge length: 76 mm
Weight: 141 grams
