This puzzle works like 3x3x3 without corners that was transformed into a toroid. Like a void cube it has large holes on all six sides but unlike the Void Cube this puzzle has pieces equivalent to the faces of a 3x3x3 but lacks pieces equivalent to the corners. In 2023 a mass produced version "Tori Cube" hit the market. See images 6-9. Links
