The first speed cube marketed under the Rubiks brand.

The Rubik's Speed Cube (RSC) was first introduced during the Paris 2017 World Championships as a giveaway to all entrants, then provided as the exclusive cube used in the First Nationals Competition during the Championships. The cube was exclusively sold by Gan, Rubik's and Gan then selling the regular version in September 2017. The Paris version was limited to a run of 1974 units in honour of the year of the original Rubik's Cube design. Using a Gan core with GES nuts the cube is easily tensionsble with additional nuts (nut wrench supplied). The textured tiles replaced stickers, and were not shiny like earlier Rubik's cubes. The texture offered a unique feel to the cube (some liked it, others didn't). Overall the cube is the best Rubik's brand cube produced to date offering easy tensioning, great action, and weight. The regular version is the same cube but without the logo, card and bag.
