Magnetic Dice Bandaged Cube
Above:Solved
The above is currently the only image for this item.
A variant of the Magnetic Dice Cube that was bandaged with a wooden block, implanted with magnets.

  • Inventor: Unknown
  • Mechanism: 3x3x3
  • Patents: Unknown
  • Producer: Owen Lillywhite
  • Year: 2016
  • Original Price: $14.99 USD
  • Current Price: No Data

Optional 2x2x2 or 2x2x3 magnetized wooden block can limit moves available to solve the magnetic dice cube. Unlike usual bandaging, the wood block does not provide any hint to what it replaces. To use, just remove an equally sized section of the solved cube, and replace it with the block, scramble and solve. The cube can be unbandaged simply by replacing the bandaged block with the section of removed dice.
Owen Lillywhite who is mentioned as producer here is not the inventor of this technique but he runs a webshop in which his custom made variants can be purchased.
The year given here is an upper bound.
