Two megaminxes fused into an puzzle with six turning faces left for each halve.

This fused megaminx are equivalent to the Megapentix. For aesthetic reasons the builder gave them the cleaner more compact look of the deeper nesting and the elimination of the vestigial parts.

The builder named his creation Megamitosis because to him it looks like it's in a stage of cell division. Kastellorizo (Pantazis Houlis) started a naming convention for fused/siamese megaminx back in 2006. If sticking with that nomenclature, it could also be called a megahenicosaix (21 shared pieces 21 being henicosa)

This mod is only possible with a megaminx that has the right size ratio between centers and corners, which is likely why previous fused versions didnt go for melding them this deep.
