Designed to be a lower-order Masterball with three layers and six segments.

This puzzle is equivalent to a 3-layer Cheese puzzle. It can also be viewed as a lower-order Masterball, (hence the name "Apprenticeball").
Piece type signature: PIII1mp[T3][]

The inventor printed it in white ABS and painted the pieces with acrylic paints.
Diameter: 60 mm
Weight: 55 grams

In 2018 Jason Gavril printed a series of 4 samples with translucent material. See images 5-8. On three of them he exchanged one colour with translucent white.
Diameter: 56 mm
Weight: 63 grams
