Inspired by Dayan Gem VI this puzzle applies the same concept to a simpler geometry. It allows turns of 60° on some faces but is not fudged.

This puzzle takes the concept of the DaYan Gem VI and applies it to a simpler geometry, hence the name. It implements the tetrahedral geometry in the shape of a truncated triakis tetrahedron, rather than the cubic geometry of the Gem VI as a truncated triakis octahedron.
The corners with three pentagons can be turned by 120°. The more amazing feature are the turns of the hexagonal faces which can be turned by 60°. These cuts are so shallow that no fudging was needed to make them possible.
Edge length: 25 mm
Weight: 85 grams

The puzzle has 5260148271894694098078564740781512348048464795410306719576028203302494854052839424000000000000000 = 5.26*10^96 permutations if all pieces are considered distinguishable and their orientations visible.
Compared with the number available if the puzzle can be disassembled and reassembled there are these restrictions:
-The permutations of the hexagons is always even.
-The orientation of the last triangle-triangle-edge is determined by the other seventeen.
-The permutations of the hexagons must have the same order (mod 3) as the orientations of the opposing tips.
-The permutations of edges (both types), triangles, corners and the orientation of hexagons must have the same parity.
Stickered as shown here the puzzle has 60411968905910559746458783520530097089694327566087741346593095967938969600000000000 = 60.4*10^81 permutations.
