A bandaged 5x5x5 inspired by the AI Cube.
This is not the first puzzle that wants to adapt the concept of the AI cube to a 5x5x5. The predecessor is the 5x5x5 Corner Block Cube. A later cousin is the Chimera Shift.
The first shares the symmetry with the AI Cube but leaves one layer per dimension unchanged. The second changes all layers but with a lesser degree of symmetry. It uses four blocks: One 3x3x3 and three 2x2x3.
The AI Assimetric 5x5x5 implements one 1x2x2, one 1x3x3 and two 2x3x4s.
Six years after the original Szymon Sosnowski reinvented it together with the Chimera 5x5x5. See images 3-5 and the seperate entry.
Also a mass produced version "Chimera Assymetric-Cube-5 Bandaged 5x5x5" hit the market. See images 6-7.
