This puzzle resembles the inverted 3x3x3 (please see the separate entry), but was designed differently. The inverted 3x3x3 used spherical cuts and the resulting puzzle does not change its shape. This new puzzle uses cylindrical shapes for the truncation and it changes its shape.
There is no Tricylinder 3x3x3 V3 in the museum because that one is identical to the Hexaball from a different designer.
