The Hungarian Globe is a gem of a puzzle. The inner plastic core serves as the functional part of the toy, and the tin coverings show a picture of the earth. The mechanism is simply 12 tiles that rotate around 3 rings that encompass the Globe.
This puzzle is mentioned in Cubic Circular Issue #5&6 from 1982.
These puzzles came in two languages: English and Hungarian. Originally made in 1982.
The original packaging reads "Globus Gömb".
In the japanese version (images 5-8) the puzzle itself had english texts.
There is an alternative version (images 9-11) titled "The earth globe".
