Nothing is known of this puzzle except what the images tell.
At first this puzzle looks like a variant of equator with four additional pieces in each ring. But then one recognizes the hole. It is assumed that this hole is there on purpose and therefore it is classified as moving hole and not as equator. It is possible that the hole is left open because the pieces wouldn't move otherwise but that is pure speculation so far.
The leaflet is written in german, english and french. According to it the puzzle came with 53 knobs out of the puzzle. THese have to be pushed in by the user.
