Tricopter 9 is very similar to the previous Tricopter 9 Pillow and HeliPrism 9 Curvy puzzles, and it features elements of both. The pillowed shape combined with the curvy cuts allows several pieces from the previous puzzles to be eliminated, boiling the puzzle down to only its essential parts. Like its predecessors, Tricopter 9 has six jumbling axes at the 90 degree edges of the prism, and three non-jumbling axes at the 60 degree edges of the prism. Moves on these axes can be combined in either order.
