This is part of a series of three creations with eight cubes each. All are derivatives of the Cross Windows Cube where the inventor connected adjacent corners with each other.
This time the inventor (not the same as for the Cross Windows Cube) connected adjacent edges. Each cube behaves as if three sides were bandaged with three edge-face-blocks.
