Inside the plastic cage of this puzzle are eight shapes which themselves consist of eight cubies. In four of the shapes the cubies are inverted. Otherwise the puzzle would not work.
In each move four of the eight shapes are rotated in conjunction in a shared plane. Two of them in opposite direction to the others.

This puzzle has 96 pieces in four colours which slide around the body like in equator. Compared with the latter this puzzle has two rings with 20 tiles each in every dimension.
Nothing is known about this puzzle except that it is from the soviet union.

This puzzle was shown in "The book of ingenious and diabolical puzzles" from 1994. This gives an upper bound for the publication of this puzzle.
