An uncommon puzzle produced in Hong Kong.
This puzzle consists of five discs, each of which has four knobs mounted on it. Each disc can be turned in 90?increments. Each corner/colour has it's own disc. The fifth disc is in the center and overlaps the other four discs in such a way that turning the center disc rotates the four inner knobs.
Murray Gould, the inventor of this puzzle, was president of M-Squared, the original producer of this puzzle. He had planned to come out with a followup puzzle which was called SUPER GRIPPLE, and then TRIPLE GRIPPLE by 1990. TRIPLE GRIPPLE was three dimensional and each was progressively more difficult than the original.
